The Lebanese Modern Pentathlon Federation Oversees Lebanon’s First University Laser-Run Championship

The Lebanese Modern Pentathlon Federation supervised the organization of the first university Laser Run championship in Lebanon, featuring competitions that combine running and laser pistol shooting at fixed targets. The championship was held at the Lebanese University and organized by the Sports Activity Department, with Mr. Saleh Zeaiter, Head of Activities in the First Branches, responsible for technical and organizational coordination, assisted by coaches Mahdi Zeineddine and Alaa Zeineddine .

The event took place on the track of the Sports Complex at the Rafic Hariri University City in Hadath, with 21 students participating. Female students competed in a 1600 meter race, while male students ran 2000 meters.

The results were as follows:

Men’s Category:

  1. Mohammad Zaki Monzer (Faculty of Media) – 07:56.93
  2. Hussein Sawli (Faculty of Media) – 08:06.47
  3. Hussein Dabbous (Faculty of Education) – 09:47.17

Women’s Category:

  1. Diala Zoubian (Faculty of Engineering) – 07:59.60
  2. Nour Fasad (Faculty of Engineering) – 08:02.07
  3. Sara Najdi (Faculty of Science) – 09:30.38

The competition was attended by the President of the Lebanese Modern Pentathlon Federation, Eng. Roukoz Zgheib, Secretary General Mrs. Nadia Nehmeh, several board members, as well as Mr. Wasim Ismail, President of the Lebanese Triathlon Federation. Together with Mr. Ahmad Hazer, Head of the Sports Activity Department at the Lebanese University, they honored the winners by awarding medals.
